At MP SKIN CHECK part of the costs of our skin checks are covered by Medicare (for valid medicare card holders).

Online Medicare rebate claiming available – To provide you with your Medicare rebate, your banking details must be registered with Medicare. The rebate will then be deposited in your account, usually overnight.

Private Health – Please check with your Private Health fund prior to your appointment if claims are applicable for this service.

  • Standard consultation – Pay on day fee $165.
  • Long consultation – Pay on the day fee $205.
  • New Patients – New patients are required to be booked for a long consultation.

Partial Medicare rebates are applicable and will vary as to length of appointment and which doctor you see.

Valid Health Care Card and Pension Card Holders

  • Standard consultation – Pay on the day $125
  • Long consultation – Pay on the day fee $165

Appointment Confirmations and Cancellation Fees

Please note, your appointment must be confirmed by SMS or phone no later than 3pm on the day prior, to avoid cancellation. Our practitioners reserve the right to charge a non-attendance fee for missed or cancelled appointments without sufficient notice and you may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled consultation fee. This is at the patients cost and is not covered by Medicare.

Procedure / Surgery Fees (if required)

Surgery fees are based on the time required/allocated for a particular procedure and can be quoted to you at the time of booking.

Surgery fees also have Medicare rebates available to Medicare card holders.
